A bird call sounded in the forest and Nightingale jumped from his sleep, excited. Wings suddenly sounded outside his cove and Nightingale pushed away the leaves to see pink feathers floating around the leaves and Nightingale smiled mischievously and jumped out of his den and he heard a yelp and he smiled as he heard a chirp above him."Okay, that's not fair, don't scare me like that," Rhododendron laughed and Nightingale tried to jump up at her."Oh, but I will," he taunted her and they laughed together and Nightingale jumped as he heard a howl in the distance. Rhododendron landed suddenly and pecked Nightingale,"Are you ready to go to..you know?" she asked and Nightingale flashed his teeth."Oh yes," he answered her and dipped his head and paws into the cove, vines covering his back. Rhododendron flapped her wings uncertainly."Are you sure we should do this?" she asked and Nightingale popped his up, carrying two darkly colored ponchos."Am I sure?" Nightingale asked and flicked his tail,"Of course not!" he said and Rhododendron widened her eyes as Nightingale started to move along the forest, trees whispering and Rhododendron started to flap along behind, putting on her poncho uncertainly and looked at the moon above them, the castle and the hills of Cardwin and she closed her eyes, uncertain.

Friend: Rhododendron

About Peeyu Eggs

The absolutely abhorrent odor emanating from Peeyu eggs is nearly five times as potent as the scent given off by Pinkunk eggs. Any sensible creature with a sharp sense of smell will stray clear of a Peeyu burrow without hesitation.

About the Peeyu Creature

The Science and Research Center classifies the Peeyu as the worst-smelling species of the skunk family, and rightfully so, as they are able to produce a repugnant scent that can even deter a fully matured Fangtharp from attacking.

The striped markings, along with a dismal face-like pattern, is a textbook example of aposematism.
