Melami: Greek name meaning "black; dark".

Originally named "CrystalMystery". Originally thought (as the stages weren't revealed) that the egg's patterns looked like crystals. The "mystery" part was because we only knew what the egg looked like.

About Muska Eggs

The blue streaks on Muska eggs are very shiny, especially in sunlight, and oftentimes hold people spellbound. If the Muska egg is shaken lightly, blue sparkle dust will fall from these streaks; this dust can be collected (and shaking the egg will not harm it in any way). Scientifically speaking, it has been proven by the Science and Research Center in Ark City that this dust has no known abnormal properties (either by biology or magic) but people still seem to enjoy collecting Muska Dust and putting it on display in jars for all to see.
