Sorimorpha the Shrew

"Finally. Welcome." she mumbled, smiling at herself. "You're my first tenant. Do have a name?"

Of course, the egg never replied. "I'll suppose you don't." Shrewrd touched her chin. She could guarantee that this egg was a male. Can he be named after her nickname? She nodded. But 'Soricomorpha' didn't sound like a guy's name. But might.. 'Sorimorpha' do? Shrewrd nodded again. "You'll be called Sorimorpha now." she said and smiled again. But she wanted to know how this fragile little egg came rolling into her land. She turned around, with little hope, trying to find some Shrew parents frantically looking for their egg, or calls of help. But she could find nothing. She glanced at the egg and put it into the incubator she made herself. She smiled, she didn't want to be acknowledged as a kidnapper, but she loved the boy, she had already felt how it was being mother.

Second

Shrewrd loved this new tenant. She looked at it everyday during her free time, instead of making new machines. But about a month later, another Shrew rolled into Shrewrd's land.
