About Cobrart Eggs

This egg was only available in Egg Cave's Cash Shop Park for February 2013.

Cobrart eggs are surprisingly soft with a somewhat scaly texture. Due to the softness of these eggs, they are usually hidden deep within a Cobrart's lair upon a nest of soft fur and feathers. This keeps the eggs safe from predators and the nest acts as a cushion against the hard stone.

About the Cobrart Creature

Living near the very edge of the Northern Plains, Cobrart tend to have a reclusive nature and spend most of their time hiding within rocky crevices. Even when backed into a corner, Cobrart are initially reluctant to lash out against their aggressor. When sufficiently provoked, the venomous Cobrart will strike with its fangs to deliver a mild toxin that is generally harmless to human beings, but more effective on smaller creatures.

This venom has achieved an infamous status as the main ingredient within "love elixirs" sold by cunning salesmen throughout Ark's history. These elixirs, containing usually nothing more than mineral oil, animal fat, turpentine, various herbs, and several droplets of Cobrart venom, have been peddled as a remedy to cure lovesickness. The Science and Research Center, finding no scientific basis for these outrageous claims, has since debunked these elixirs as fraudulent goods that simply existed to steal money from the lovelorn and brokenhearted.
