So, this is a new way to prevent hackers from taking your creatures! Basically, you make up a pin code that will be asked EVERY time you accept/reject a pin. And if you forget the lot, simply do the same process as a lost password/username, contact Ian and he'll message you a new one via e-mail. π Example made by ME! So Don't Try To Steal It! >π± http://bit.ly/m1sswo

This'll save us from hacking users π Very indeed nice idea.

What if we also integrate PIN codes to other areas? Like PINs before withdrawing from the strongroom, PINs before abandoning an egg, PINs before name changes, etc.Would that be a hassle? :?
gagamonster15 • 20 June 2011 at 7:42 PM
Well, if you don't want one, that could be an option too. But I'm sure if you get hacked by another Egg Cave user that wants your creatures, this will come in handy by a milestone.
whitefall • 21 June 2011 at 12:23 AM
Yes, it could be optional, like in Neopets! π± You could out PINs where you please.Personally, I'd out it in the TC, AC and Strongroom. π People with CC would probably like to put a password lock on CSP.

LOL, I was offering on the lot xD
silverserpent • 22 June 2011 at 5:33 PM
Uhm... But what if you get a lot of scrap offers? I get that a lot and they already annoy me. Having to enter a pin code every time I want to reject an unwanted offer feels... even more annoying. :/Entering it before accepting would be nice though. π

I got a taigrin and caiman and mekii for my doovoo trade... o_O
gagamonster15 • 22 June 2011 at 6:08 PM
As said before, PIN CODES ARE OPTIONAL! T_T
icymuffin • 22 June 2011 at 6:13 PM
If they are implemented, maybe users shouldn't complain that their creatures were stolen if they refused to use the PIN codes to prevent hacking.
crazymushroom • 24 June 2011 at 3:07 PM
I like this idea, π. Bump!
dionaea • 24 June 2011 at 3:12 PM
Yeah, I like it too, though I agree that you should be able to choose where you use it. Personally I don't care much about my EC, you can earn it again if you lose it, so I'd like to be able to turn those off.
