It makes no sense when a Yeep attacks you at the Mysterious Asteroid because the description of the creature clearly states that they are "friendly with Ark citizens" and "wouldn't hurt a fly". It contradicts the description completely.

The description of a Honk in the Archives:Honk are a unique kind of species in that they are the only type of duck which will NOT run away from a human.
