~Chapter 1:~
The Dawn of Night




Luke drew his sword from his pouch. Burning with anger, he ferociously struck at the oversized dragon. The dragon hissed in pain as he toppled to the icy pit beneath him. Luke sighed a breath of relief as he placed his sword back into his pouch. The dragon they had been trying to defeat for 5 years had finally fallen at his feet. They needed the dragon's scales to produce a chemical known as Biotoxic D. Biotoxic D was a very important chemical to the village that Luke lived in. It provided them with electricity, life, and much more. The only thing Luke would have to do now was to climb down, and gut the dragon. Luke used his sword to slowly lower himself down into the icy pit that the dragon had fallen down in to. The pit led down a straight 9 miles, but Luke wasn't about to let that stop him from completing his overall objective. When he finally reached the bottom, he saw the dragon. The dragon was obviously dead. Not moving an inch, Luke determined that it would be safe to approach it. But at that moment, across from the dragon shined a very bright light. Luke was a bit shocked that something that bright could be lying down at the bottom of a 9 mile icy pit. But, Luke was not one to doubt that things that seemed impossible. Completely forgetting about his mission, Luke ran over to the light. When he picked it up, he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw what it was. This was the day?..that Luke...made history.

I find that posting your Rough on a site does help. People catch your mistakes or give you better words to replace. Then your final is spotless.
