A mobile website?

It's a pain trying to do stuff on egg cave from my phone. I honestly want a mobile website so I can feed my eggs, post on forums and stuff from my phone without using too many megabytes. That would be nice.

Who else is in favor? Sorry if this idea was already posted or if I'm not supposed to post something like this on this topic.

I'm not sure if this would be possible.
It's my understanding, that, Ian would have to create a whole new layout and such for the website.
If I'm wrong, though, correct me.
I don't think it's a simple task.
That would be 5x as much work he'd have to do to create an app or just a website that's based around being a mobile website.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but it might be time better spent on the site say, making new games?
If I am correct on the, Ian would have to create a whole new layout just to make it mobile friendly, it might not even be possible for him to do? I'm not sure.

I get where you're coming from but I'm not asking for much. He doesn'treally have to make another layout just a blog thats in the dimensions of a mobile phone, a way to reply to comments and accept trades and feed eggs. I don't think its that much to do, but then again I'm not a techie.

I can access it perfectly fine on phones, and ipads. xD Still, it may be more convenient for us, though It would be a lot of work for Ian. x3

Still, the idea isn't bad 😊

I know from my phone, I can post comments.
I haven't tried to feed creatures or anything yet. Haven't needed to.
I don't remember what I read or heard, but it was that it's a lot harder to make a layout for a mobile website? I could be wrong. I think I just read it somewhere.
I don't think it'd be that hard to do, since Ian is clearly tech savvy.
I think it'd be a nice idea.

It might encourage some more people to come online if they had the option of an easier-to-use mobile Egg Cave site.

@shelby - that would be another plus to a mobile website. It's annoying having to scroll up and down on my iPod. On my phone it's slightly better. But I do like the site and it would be easier if I could just connect to the mobile site and manage it from there. Especially if I'm in another country 😋

I just do it from my laptop so I don't really mind not having a mobile version.

Besides, as many have said it would be a lot of work to create a version specifically for mobile use.

I really need this implimented.
With my busy schedule, the only time I find for EC is on my phone while going to school.

@fluffy Yeah, the phone site is okay, it would just be faster and easier to have a mobile one.

@fluffy Its actually been suggested at some point and Ian has said that he definitely wants to make a mobile-friendly version of the site at SOME point. 😋 I'm not sure if it will be any time soon, but hopefully we'll have one eventually. ^^

@fluffy I have ALWAYS been thinking of this since I don't always have access to a computer... but I take my iPhone EVERYWHERE!! >.< it would really help Egg Cave ... "widen their horizons", so to speak... and I've been thinking about making this suggestion. I hope he makes it😊 ❤️
