Trade Center Suggestion

Yes. I have a suggestion for the Trade Center. Cool huh 😊

Anyway to the point.
I think every 6 months, all the lots in the trade center should be cancelled.
Why?
I've noticed there's a lot of lots up that stay up forever because the user quit and didn't cancel their lots.
Or people leave lots up and never accept anything or end up rejecting after having it up for over a year.
This isn't really fair or what the *Trade* center is for. It's meant for trading. People could be offering on lots where the user has quit but the person offering doesn't notice or check. So they could be offering on a different lot where the person will actually accept a lot.

I know sometimes people want to leave a lot open for a little bit, (a month or so) which is fine. But I think every 6 months is reasonable. Then the lots that aren't active get taken down, and new lots with active users are made. It'd help keep it neater.

I was thinking maybe once in the middle of the year, June, and then again in December.
Support? *u*

This is a great idea! The trades kinda pile up and some people reject every offer, so this would help a lot. 😊

@qwaszx
Thanks.
I've noticed it just seems like some trades are always up.

@shelby I thought they take down lots after a month? Or is that only the ones with no offers??

@shelby Oooh, you know, I've never had this problem.... Well, not that I've noticed. XD I usually take down offers after a day or two. 😋 Impatient, I know.

I actually didn't know that lots a year old were taken down. 😋 So, are suggesting that ALL lots are taken down every 6 months, or that lots 6 months old are taken down? Because if it's the former, that's a bit odd... Someone could make a lot in late May, only to have it taken down the first of June. If it's the latter, go ahead and ignore this. XD

But I agree with this idea overall; patient users could end up waiting a very, very long time to figure out that the trade was made by an inactive user.

@littlepuffyball
I dunno?
I've seen lots up for a long time. Maybe they stay if there are offers.
I didn't hear anything about that.

@ems:
I may have been exaggerating a bit with they over a year old. Maybe not because I've seen lots up for a long time.
And I'm not sure about that. I guess which ever is easier:
Take them down June First - December First. Or auto cancelled after they're up for six months.
I don't know which would be easier. I think in the end, which ever is easier to do is better to do.

Yes. I think it would be silly to leave lots up if the user quits. I know sometimes users decide to come back, but it's silly to have lots up for longer than 6 months, in my opinion.

@shelby I think lots stay up for a certain amount of time, and then close - rejecting all offers. ^^

Well, the first isn't very conveinent, and as far as I'm concerned, they've been doing the other one with a longer time period. 😋 But I agree with you - whichever is easier is best. ^^

@shelby I'm pretty sure lots are taken down after 30 days, like @littlepuffyball mentioned. I know that used to be the case, and I don't remember it being changed.

@zac
Oh really ;-;
Maybe it just appears lots are open longer because people are constantly cancelling then redoing them then.

I like it! Everything would be more organized and not cluttered with quitter's lots. 😊
