2) Sign up for the feeding list. Get your creatures fed or feed other creatures on the list for extra EC! (Being on the list is not restricted to newbies.)

Raffles!
To enter a raffle for Y hundred thousand EC, refer Y newbies/inexperienced users/users-seeking-help-in-general over here, feed 2Y coves on the feeding list, or a combination of the two. (For a referral to count, they have to actually come here.) You can do this more than once for a raffle, to get more than one spot. Raffles will end when two objectives are met: 1) At least ten spots are filled. 2) I'm online (fairly regular, but I'm not on 24/7)

People generally get a lot of EC by feeding a lot of creatures. A handy trick is to open a lot of new tabs with creatures in them, and use CTRL-W to quickly feed-close-feed-close-feed-close until the tabs are gone and creatures have been fed. Also, the 15th of each month is a double/triple-feed day, where each feed can get you anywhere from the normal amount to 300 EC! 😊
