Before I get to the descriptions, I would like to say that I'd prefer this creature be for the month of May if it's used, but honestly, it makes no difference to me when it's released if it ever is o-o

Saberlith egg: Found throughout the month of May, these eggs can only be found once a year after Saberlith mothers have gathered their eggs and returned to their solitary lives in the mountains. Mothers with more than one egg run the risk of accidently leaving one behind, as Saberlith clutches rarely contain more than one egg and this single egg is almost never abandoned.

Saberlith: Saberlith sabers serve only to attract a forever mate. As Saberliths are almost strictly vegetarian creatures, despite their sabers, they are not used to hunt. Because of their solid composure, they are, however, prized as a jewel or precious stone, and much sought after by hunters and poachers.

Saberliths are solitary creatures and only truly leave their remote mountain caves to visit the Cave once a year to mate. Other than to mate or forage for food, Saberliths prefer to stay hidden in their caves, making them a rare sight. Even when raised from an egg, these creatures prefer their own company to that of it's owner, so it is best to set aside a large room so the creature can find the solitude it seeks. Despite this, Saberliths are fiercely loyal to their owner, treating them as one of their own when they feel the need for human contact.
