How to mass feed quickly
Follow these steps:
1) Ctrl+click all the eggs
2) Click the first tab
3) Feed the egg
4) Hit ctrl+w
5) Keep your mouse in the same place (food) and continue clicking then ctrl+w

Terrons are available in the cave, but they only appear in midnight PCT. (about 3am ECT if I'm correct).


All of the places listed above only offers a CHANCE to get the creatures. Concerning the Thief Shop, the more EC you offer, the higher the chances are.


Want creatures to hatch more quickly?
Use Yarolds, EggCave's click exchange, or Hydra!
o Yarolds: http://swle.yarold.eu/?id=17355
Advantage: You can easily stock up on credits for multiple creatures. Decent amount of clicks per day.
Disadvantage: Leveling can be slow. Normally, people don't feed.

Advantage: Great for receiving clicks AND feeds. Probably the best one to use if you're trying to quickly level up a single creature.
Disadvantage: I find it more difficult to stock up on credits. The best I get per day is about 60XC, but it could vary from people to people. Also, if you don't want your creatures fed, you should probably avoid the click exchange.
*All Stats mean view/click/feed.

Another click exchange site. I don't use it much, but it works.

Q: I'm tired of clicking the creatures one by one. Is there any trick to do them more quickly?
A: There is an add-on called snap-links.You can open multiple links with this.

Huh? My creature turned into another creature!
Did your creature turn into this ? Congrats (I think)! You have found a mo! Mos are "rare" commons that disguise themselves as another creature. It is NOT a glitch.

Food, Toys, and Books
Items can be used for collection or increasing stats on your creatures.
o Food: Increases Feeds (use once)
o Toys: Increases Clicks (multiple us/can break)
o Books: Increases Views (use once)
**Stats are given out randomly.

Dying Creatures!
Put them here: Food Shoppe He will keep your creatures at 100% happiness (preventing them from dying) for a small price.

The General CC/EC Conversion
100cc=1M EC.

Rarity Table
This is the Rarity Table. It is ordered by population, from most common being the 1st and the rarest being the last.

Note: The rarer the creature is does not necessarily always correlate to its value. There are multiple factors that can contribute to a creatures value.

Abbreviation Meaning
o TNT= Transfer not Trade (do not offer on these)
o Tent = Tentative. (hesitant trade; probably need an amazing offer)
o UFT = Up for trade (offer on these)
o CC = CashCave 💵
o EC = 🪙 this thing
o LE= Limited Edition
o PM = Private Message (the mail icon)

- Difference in 'value/rarity' for common, endangered, monthlies, etc
- What are common, endangered, etc.
- No, you don't need to necessarily understand pokemon to read this guide 😋

Common Newbie "Mistakes"
o Do NOT bump older topics. Especially the forums listed under "EggCave" features. Please check the date on the last posts. If it's more than 6 months ago, it's most likely inactive.
o To reply to someone on walls/your profile, write your response on THEIR wall, not yours Pings do not work on walls.
o To reply to someone on forums, please ping them like this: @sampleusername or by using the bell icon.
o If you see a CC creature or something 'rare' looking, the trader is most likely not looking for a cave creature. Please do not offer one. Cave creatures are normally sold for EC, other cave creatures, and maybe monthlies.
o It's tempting to collect a ton of creatures, but more creature = more work!

Ahhhh, wish I knew that mass feeding trick earlier! Would've saved all my poor creatures (most) from dying!

Talking about the Rarity Table would be useful a bit.

A lot of new users tend to look at it backwards, believing that #1 is the rarest, when it's actually the most common.

The Kakakuona is missing from the Thief Shop creature list.

Outside of this, I think maybe some information on how to PM someone and how they differ from the usual forums (consecutive posts, 60 second gaps, etc.) and what to do if you suspect something is up with the site (link to guide of the bugs and glitches forum) and circumstances where a ticket would be needed and how to send those 😊

Just to say, this is an awesome guide for newbies, I wish I had access to something like this when I first joined.

Another thing to put would be how it isn't the best idea to get a lot of creatures early on because large coves can be hard to maintain without much time and/or EC. I've often seen newbies try to get as many creatures as they can and end up later on with too many creatures for them to manage plus having a lot of difficulty downsizing.

I'll let you know if I think of anything else to add! 😃

-----But what's the use to "All Stats" ???-----

Does it mean that you do what you want, indifferently to the owner of the egg (only clic or with feed too as the feeder like).

Or it's for the feeder to see all stats required by owners ... ? but so, what does he had to do, when none of the two symbols drew (clic symbol, feed symbol)..

In brief I really don't understand how to use "All Stats" over there ... 😊)

'All stats' means that the creatures wants/needs both feeds and clicks. It is essentially the same as there just being the 'feed' icon since you need to click the creature to feed it.

Clicking 'all stats' for the owner of the creatures means that feeds would be nice but aren't necessary for the creature's growth- if that makes sense? I'll try to be more clear if I didn't answer your question right 😊

but views doesn't change ... none bonus ...

The only I see is
...Your creature's total books read has been increased by 1...

but I don't see any bonus in view ...???

If I understand well, you could visit the asteroid only once a day but you could visit the thief shop and the oasis, as much as you want .... is it right ?

this is right!

you can try to catch one asteroid egg once a day! you normally get 'attacked' by a yeep or you hide from a thunder storm or even flee before weird noises! 😋

and for the thief shop and the oasis you normally go in and don't find anything, but go often and you'll find something!

i never got anything from the oasis but i know it's free but for the thief shop, you must have enough ec on hands! when i go i normally keep 600k on hand all day long! i feed few pets then go visit the thief shop! i got 2 of the thief shop pets a goggy http://eggcave.com/egg/1442286 and a sankose http://eggcave.com/egg/1441358 !
