Ping notifications don't show up

I don't know if this happened to anyone but, when someone pings me, the notifications don't show up for some for me >.<

It could be that they've spelled your username incorrectly.

Sometimes its a glitch in the system, sometimes its misspelling, sometimes they pinged too many people, but if it happens all the time, send in a ticket.

The person or people pinging you may be adding you to a list that is more than 5 usernames which is the limit for pings at one time. You may be further down the ping list in those circumstances.

It's worth double checking to see 😊

I also miss out on some notifications when I have trouble loading the page and it hangs a bit ...

I frequently check my notifications page though so I rarely miss them unless I'm just away from egg cave.

Only 1st five pings show up, as veritas has explained. If you want to get someone's attention and you don't have enough room just post on their wall. For giveaways, ask people to subscribe to the topic beforehand so they get notifs. 😊
