Travel Release Week

I have recently noticed that I feel the lack of very pretty/detailed/artistic travels and I came up with this idea. How about introducing a travel release week? I'm sure it would have to be worked on, but my initial idea is that every day the site would release two non-CC travels and one CC travel, that would only be available during the event. I'm not sure whether the non-CC travels should be available in the Travel Agency or obtained in a different way. What do you think about this idea?

Sounds like a cool idea.

Maybe an art contest kind of thing? Users submit their travel designs based on that day's theme and the winner(s?) get picked to be released for a limited time?

Hmm, I think artists need some time to design and draw a travel though... Wouldn't really be a week thing I think o.o

Good point... maybe release the themes in advance and then have a week where the winners were announced?

Yeah, that could be done! Still, it might be a shame if we can see all the submissions beforehand, like we have been able to in the past with user submissions, dampening the surprise... Maybe it'd be better if they were directly submitted to staff only? o.o

That's fair enough- though hired artists are often players too I think ^^"

The travels should be released in the cave (HA). This definitely would be a cool idea to implement!

Hmm. Not sure what I think of this. There are already sooo many travels and unless the art is really great I don't think I would bother with this event if it ever came to be.

The TA always sell out so quickly when there are new travels. Getting even one is a hassle. ^^;

Hmm... But as you say, some of the current travels aren't that pretty so maybe it could be a good thing. I'm indecisive. 8/

No, I mean like how we had day one air, day two was space, and so on, so the travels would be themed based on that

Oh yay! I mean, I think it would be cool to have trinket travels for the CRW creatures, but I think themed travels would be cooler for a travel release week
