Is this being caused by the nl2br() function? I think I was experiencing this problem at some point as well.

If you ran that function when the data was being displayed, rather than before it was stored, that might solve the problem. (but you could also use str_replace() too)

Unless I'm just completely misreading the problem, which is likely. 😋
