Who else thinks this would be valuable?

If Ian could create some automated way of counting how many creatures of each species were in existence, and then from there calculating the percentages of each creature. Maybe it could even just be a yearly thing, like the egg cave census. I think it would be really valuable and useful information though, especially in terms of trading value. I know it's possible, since I've seen many other sites (neopets, petadoptables) do it on a daily basis or even update the numbers in real time.

So what do you think, is this something to consider?

Thanks everyone! @miomar that's so funny! Great minds think alike I guess. Maybe if a bunch of ppl suggest it Ian will be more likely to oblige. I know that I would be really interested to know the rarities.

@whitefall I's say more than 20. I think wayyy more than 50 were originally made. Although they're obviously super rare I'd say the original numbers were probably closer to 100-200 and maybe now it's down around 100 or 50. I could be wrong though.... this is just the feeling I get from the ones I've seen around.
