So... hi? Name's katrinwolf, Kate, Rin, or whatever else you can think of. Not around quite enough to chat, actually, but if you see me online for more than a few minutes, I promise I don't bite 😊
Most of my interests find their way into my creatures' names one way or another. So, if you recognize any of them or are simply interested, I will gladly talk about whatever you can find here!

Music. Yay, music! I'm the kind of person that has headphones on, like, 80% of the time. I'm a bit of a metalhead, mostly (but not exclusively) after older bands. My favourite band can be found on my sweet Carnivorse 😊 I'm far from being a metal purist, though, and there's quite a bit of other genres in my playlist as well. I'll listen to whatever as long as I like it!

Books. Books are cool. Sci-fi and scandinavian detectives for the win! You like Karin Fossum? Guess I like you. Favourite book? Hmmmm... Clockwork Orange, I guess?

Films... well... I'm that person that puts normal stuff aside and watches some big piece of whatever instead. Great film? Yeah, I'm 100% sure I'll like it... so how about I watch this weird 80s nonsence? 😃 The last thing I watched in cinema and actually liked was Mandy and the last one I bought a DVD for was Rendel (mostly because there was no other way for me to actually see the film, but I ended up liking it quite a bit) Some favourites of mine also include Watchmen (love love love), Ladyhawke, Rambo: First Blood, Cabin in the Woods, The Thing and a bunch of Soviet films you probably haven't heard of. Make of that what you will 😃

TV shows. Don't watch many. Doesn't help that, when I manage to start caring deeply for a series, it just decides to crash & burn & do something awful to itself at the very last moment or earlier (hello, Primeval; hello, Sherlock; OH HAI THERE Hemlock Grove...) I'm still into Stranger Things for now, as I loved the first season and the second was not quite bad enough to call bad, but I'm really not sure S3 will be able to keep it up. let's hope I'm wrong 😃

Cartoons and animated series. Again, not a big watcher. I haven't even managed to watch Samurai Jack in full, despite the fact that I think it's a yeeping gift from the gods. I've seen Avatar: The last airbender, though, and for more recent things, Castlevania is actually a real good one. It does very basic things, true, but it does them well. As for full-length animations... does anyone else remember Rock & Rule was a thing? I mean, it's a complete dumpster fire for most part, but DAT VILLAIN. Whoever was animating DAT FACE deserves the world.

Anime. It's a bit funny considering for how long I've been watching anime videos, anime memes and gaining some general anime knowledge without actually having watched a single anime from start to finish 😃 But I've finally started to catch up on that recently. I'm still reluctant to go for anything that has more than 30 episodes (or 50 if it's broken into seasons), and my criteria for watching this and not watching that (and, more importantly, enjoying one thing, being okay with the other and disliking yet another one) seem to be even more random than with the films, but hey, why not. My list of finished animes (or the ones I caught up with, heh) is currently at 21, and will be growing pretty soon when some ongoings come to a close. The one that I'm feeling the most irrational passionate connection to is Kekkai Sensen aka Blood Blockade Battlefront. It's just... too much of MY THING in every way to resist ❤️❤️❤️
