This will explain to you what cave, monthlies, etc are and use Pokemon to give you a very basic idea on how valuable one is compared to another.

EggCave value/rarity are unique and can be complex.

Q: What are Cave Creatures and how valuable are they?
A: Cave Creatures are creatures you find in the cave. These creatures are considered to be 'Commons'.

Imagine you're starting out your adventure. You walk into the grass and the first pokemon that comes out...is a Rattata!

These are what cave creatures are like. They are the zubats, rattata, the magikarp.... Everyone encounters them easily and probably had them at one point. They may not be valuable to other people, but you might keep them in your box because they might be special to you. 😋

Remember that your magikarp can one day become a gyarados so I wouldn't throw away that common that easily! (ex. drakomo).

Q: What are Monthies and how valuable are they?
A: Monthlies creatures that are only available at a given month in the cave. After that month ended, they are no longer found in the cave.

Imagine you're on your pokemon adventure again. You come across route 37. Rumor has it that this is the only place you can find Ralts on your adventure, assuming you don't want to turn back. To find one, you'll have to scour through the grass a bit. Like most people, you'll have to face some more Rattata before you can find a Ralts.

This is what monthlies are like. Everyone passes through route 37 at one point, but once they pass route 37, no more Ralts.

Monthlies are like the Ralts, Pikachu, or Growlithe.

Q: What are Endangered and how valuable are they?
A: Endangered species use to be Commons/Cave Creatures that 'retired.' You won't find them in the cave anymore.

Imagine, that, once upon a time, Charmanders ruled Route 1. They were the Rattatas or Pidgeys at one point. Until....poof. They become Endangered. Whether it's because trainers kept beating them up for experience, who knows?

They have been saved by Professor Oaks (the Oasis) but now, so many people want Charmanders. He decide that he'll distribute them randomly, rarely, and first come first serve.

Q: What are Event Creatures
Event Creatures are given out during events, hence the name, as prizes.

In pokemon, they can be compared to the pokemons you get in the Game Corner. Event ~ Porygon. Except now, the Game Corner is closed on certain months and open for a limited amount of time.

Q: What are CRW Creatures
They are creature released at the start of each new year for a week. Every day of the month, they release a creature in the cave.
Monday~Creature #1 Release
Tuesday~Creature #2 release with creature 1
Wednesday~Creature #3 released with creature 2 and 1.
...etc.

They have varying values..

Q: What are CC Creatures and how valuable are they?
CC creatures, or Cave Cash creatures are creatures obtainable in the Cash Shop Park and cost $$. If you don't have $$, it is still possible to trade for some them.

They are generally much more valuable than event, endangered, etc creatures.

They also have varying values. Normally, the older they are, the more exclusive and valuable they become.

Imagine them being like when you buy the original pokemon cards. You buy them, you trade them, or you can wait for them to get valuable over time (actually, this can apply to any creatures).

About Illumilux Eggs

June Cave Monthly

Illumilux eggs are almost impossible to find as their coloration makes them blend in almost perfectly in Ark's rivers. Illumilux eggs tend to be laid near the headwaters of many rivers and will float down river the closer they get to hatching.

About the Illumilux Creature

When Illumiluxes hatch they are incredibly tiny, around one centimeter in length. However they quickly reach their full size over the course of a week, around ten centimeters. As the Illumilux matures it develops bioluminescence creating beautiful nighttime displays in Ark's rivers. This display can be anything from small glowing points of light, creating the effect that the river is full of stars, to creating the appearance that the river is on fire with light. Unfortunately, Illumiluxes do not live for long and this display is only visible for about a month every summer.
