The vicious wars, fought mainly between the armadillo clan (us) and the ever violent butterflies, who remain our biggest threat today. The tactic used against the butterflies is an easy one, to use our armadillo horns to squirt water and flood the earth, so that the butterflies would drowned. However, such a use of energy essentially creates a parallel universe and warps the fabric of reality, so we can never be entirely sure if we've ever successfully used the tactic to destroy the butterflies.
