ugh so there's this cool class at my school called biology of fungi and i waited 4 years to take it bc it was only offered every other fall and it fills up super quick so pretty much only seniors can take it, and for some reason for my senior fall it was CANCELLED

and yeah i think it was p hard, like they didn't germinate that well or something. and definitely fragile. DUDE have you seen the study that shows plants have memory. like if you drop a mimosa (without touching it) it'll respond the first time, but after repeated drops it learns-

i used to have these two old lady volunteers in the greenhouse (before they resigned in protest bc i was "doing too much of their work" (like excuse me it's actually my JOB)) and we try to grow mimosa from seed to sell in the gift shop and they yelled at me for doing it wrong-

OMG WHAT. busta essentially hasn't grown? maybe like a few millimeters bigger? hes v green tho. i keep him in super indirect sunlight like against a wall in the kitchen so maybe not enough light? omg i'll send u a pic on insta

yeah it's pretty nice! we're able to reveal letter grades if we rly want to. also i think being able to rebirth is lowkey a curse because in the past i'd just deal with having an ugly stage but now i want to rebirth everything because it's possible. goodbye my CC

avocado tree died when i was a freshman lol. but busta nut (tuna sub?) is still kickin. like 10 ft away from me right now. but theres 3 of them now in the same jar bc last year i broke down and ordered 20 online and had to pawn them off on housemates

wait omg what drama?? i either wasn't a part of it or wiped it from my memory. and yeah idk since theres so much open sky from greenhouse compared to regular house w walls, plants get more light and photosynthesize more and succ up water from the soil faster, and it dries in sun

-but also if you miss a day or two of watering it dries out and dies really fast. so idk i've never seen a fuchsia die but also the orchids don't die in the greenhouse either so basically i do not know anything
lmao right who knew egg cave could be so stressful!!!! but wow congrats good buy. and idk lol the normal laws that apply to plants are different in the greenhouse. it just hits different. like it's harder for things to die bc you p much can't overwater or not give it enough light

nah lol nothing like that i just had a bunch of plants in the greenhouse and they would drop the flowers all over the ground all the time (like the plant was totally healthy it just went through a ton of flowers) and i had to sweep all the time and it stained the ground
