You can only own 100 creatures/eggs at the same time.
You don't need to press "take egg" after approaching it you know? If you have it already you should leave room in your cave for ot

4. But don't try on the cave before you take the egg you want from the cave. before the day ends you can try all you want.

1. You get kiteps in the cave just like all others. the chanse of getting them is pretty mush the same as others I think
