If you tilt the inside edge of the eyelids up, it makes eyes seem more pleasant. The rounder they are too, humans are instinctively drawn-

Just barely flick your wrist. And make sure the fur is facing the right direction- it really helps it be contoured and 3-D.

Texture is my specialty. Especially fluffy texture. So I'm really biased. But if you do something fluffy, small, light strokes.
