You cannot help but stare at the book. You can barely fathom what it will contain, be it magical spells or just a normal novel. You step closer, peer closer, and inhale the musty scent of aged paper and dust. You want to touch it, but are afraid to. What will happen? Is it a holy book? Will a deity strike you dead for simply gazing upon it? Or will it jump to life in your hands? You hesitantly place a hand on the old leather cover. It feels brittle; you re gentle when you open it. A faint glow emits from the pages, and you step back, stunned, throwing a hand up to shield your eyes. A figure is emerging from the pages! Who is it? Who is it? But before you can ask or even get a good glimpse, the figure rushes past and out of sight. Do you chase after it..?
