While Foglin eggs appear to be vapor, they are actually fully tangible, solid eggs, however, the Science and Research Center has been unable to identify the substance that their bodies are made out of. They are much colder to touch than they appear, usually hovering at approximately -37 degrees Celsius. The egg is not overly sensitive to temperature changes, and can survive up to freezing point and all the way down to -73 degrees Celsius. Be careful, though, as touching one of these that's on the colder side can give frostbite almost instantly!
Newly hatched Foglins are incapable of flight. When they hatch, they immediately move towards the most nearby water source, where they will attach their bodies to the water's surface and float around there until they are able to travel by air. The young Foglin will warm its body up in the sun's heat until it melts into the water below it. It will continue to warm up to boiling point, which for Foglins is 10 degrees Celsius. Once all of the liquid boils, it forms the Foglin's body shape, it begins to roam around Ark City's skies. While Foglins may appear to be rather innocent, they actually rather enjoy swooping down and terrorizing Ark's citizens! Despite this, they are completely harmless creatures, and literally wouldn't hurt a fly!
