This egg has a shell that is as hard as a lobster's shell. You can find them in tide pools on Ark's northern beaches.
Omaps are a cross between a bird and a lobster and have razor-sharp pincers and claws. With enough pressure, Omaps can pulverize rocks and even cut through small bands of metal. This makes them expert excavators of shallow waters near the coast; they are great item collectors. If you've lost something like a ring on the beach, chances are an Omap has collected it.
But, sadly, you won't get any of your items back from an Omap. Omaps fiercely defend their treasure that they hide in coastal caves. In fact, Omaps organize into groups where some are scavengers and others are protectors of the treasure. To disturb an Omap clan's lair is like shaking a beehive filled with one-hundred bees.
Strangely, individuals in Omap clans rarely fight over what treasure is whose when they split up and move on.
