The densely-packed feathers present on Pebblove eggs are covered in an oily substance that is very effective at resisting water and other liquids which could harm the shell. Occasionally these eggs will exhibit a heartbeat-like rocking motion when they are nearing the time to hatch.
Pebbloves are creatures of immense affection, putting forth great strides to procure the perfect lifelong mate. In Pebblove society, the gifting of heart-shaped pebbles is seen as the ultimate token of love. It is due to this important first impression that a male Pebblove has even been documented spending eighteen months searching for the most ideal stone.
Inspired by the Pebbloves' strong romantic bonds, it has become popular in recent years for human couples to visit the shores where the species resides as a date spot.
