Upon the shell of Scarrow eggs are distinct markings resembling that of wheat. Small clumps of straw provide suitable warmth to Scarrow eggs and is the most highly recommended method of incubation.
Scarrows are the choice creatures of the farming population in Ark. Through a very careful process of selective breeding amongst Kinump, farmers have succesfully introduced a unique species of plant with a consistently loyal and fiesty personality to help them in the fields.
Young Scarrows are found to be easily temperamental and quick to spring into action, making them somewhat competent in defending crops but liable to injury. Farmers acknowledge this reckless behavior by placing them near Kinump patches to scare away less dangerous creatures. Once fully matured, Scarrows are placed snuggly on top of humanoid decoys and placed in fields which harvest important crops such as corn or grain.
With the advantage of higher ground, Scarrows watch over the fields and fend off any wandering creatures looking for some easy food. Corlinns are the primary pests that Scarrows deal with on a regular basis, each visit showing off a clever new scheme to bypass the scarecrows. Other than Corlinns, Eeriek and Terron are known for venturing close as well.
