Yill eggs are some of the brighest eggs found on Ark and are very easy to spot in the dark. They're as bright as a nova star and sometimes this light can be blinding.
The Yill is a nova creature that can be found shining bright in the night sky once hatched. A Yill egg is found on Ark; the creature then ascends into the sky and leaves the island.
A nova is a astronomical event that causes a sudden appearance of bright light—apparently a "new" star—that slowly fades over weeks or months. The causes of this dramatic appearance vary greatly and depend on the two progenitor stars that sent the egg to Ark.
Novas most often occur in the sky along the path of the Milky Way, especially near the observed galactic center in Sagittarius. They can, however, appear anywhere in the sky.
