I don't know for certain, but from what I think, Egg cave's db automatically will show all users marked at beta testers the new version.

And if a non-beta user tries to access a new page, they will either be shown the old page or a 404 error.

We shouldn't have to download anything since the purpose of a Beta Test is to have people use the thing that is to actually be released.

what would be ideal in a new version would be that creatures don't die-they just go into hibernation so when the owner returns they're safe

I think the whole point of creatures dieing is to keep users active in their care of their eggs. Plus, thats what Tim's for. 😊

I use Tim's all the time but apparently some younger users don't. I've tried twittering their creatures - shame to have them die after hatch
