Finished my hw xD I didn't want to start a whole thing, I just thought that the stripes changing color was like mine. But I understand if---

circus • 24 Jan 2014, 12:54 AM

it's not. Do you think there'd be a point of submitting another valentine creature suggestion, or is it too late?

icymuffin • 24 Jan 2014, 1:05 AM

@circus There's only so much you can do to a zebra before it stops looking like one. Change the colors and patterns around too much

icymuffin • 24 Jan 2014, 1:06 AM

and it'd just be a patterned horse, no? d: Why not? She might already be working on the actual images I suppose, but doesn't hurt to try c:

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:10 AM

@meteroid so, your saying all of these CRWs weren't even based of real artwork? So they could have just as easily been based off me and

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:11 AM

@circus's and who knows who else's artwork... why weren't they? If you don't have an answer, the only thing we can assume is that you are

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:12 AM

ignoring our suggestions, or at least not looking hard enough in the forums...

skibaerle • 24 Jan 2014, 1:12 AM

I like it

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:13 AM

I mean, @circus's valentines zebra is better than just this plain zebra, at least in my opinion. And the suggestions are there for a reason.

lady_kassandra • 24 Jan 2014, 1:17 AM

*sigh* didn't get one..

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:20 AM

I think Ian should just close the user submission forum and have every submission sent by email instead. Less drama that way.

circus • 24 Jan 2014, 1:21 AM

Thanks @nenielsen 😊 (I don't get pinged in the blog comments?) The Zebbit is super cute. I'm glad a zebra was made. Good night everybody ❤️

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:26 AM

@mrsgiggles that might be less drama, but I like being able to see everyone's artwork and ideas. I think we should take a poll to vote for

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:26 AM

user suggestions each month, instead of just having the admins decide. This site is for us, isn't it? @circus, your welcome! 😉

icymuffin • 24 Jan 2014, 1:28 AM

@nenielsen No, these creatures were based off of real live animals with an added touch of the artist's creativity & drawing style.

icymuffin • 24 Jan 2014, 1:28 AM

Amazing, isn't it?

rinoa812 • 24 Jan 2014, 1:29 AM

I absolutely love it =) Good work to the artist on all of these =)

icymuffin • 24 Jan 2014, 1:30 AM

And before you go off on another polite rant, I'd like to remind you that they're user -suggestions-. Artists aren't obligated to use

icymuffin • 24 Jan 2014, 1:30 AM

suggestions & and are free create their own. No doubt there will be occations when users and artists both come up with some similar

icymuffin • 24 Jan 2014, 1:32 AM

but awesome ideas, like the Zebbit and @circus's valentine suggestion.

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:32 AM

@nenielsen I'm personally against voting. It only makes sure that only the most popular users win, regardless of actual merit.

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:32 AM

@nenielsen Letting the admins choose allow someone less popular to have his or her design made.

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:33 AM

@icymuffin I know what a zebra is: what I'm saying is that more creatures should be based off of user suggestions, or at least consider some

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:34 AM

of them. You guys were already making a zebra. Using @circus's idea as at least inspiration would be reasonable.

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:34 AM

@nenielsen Also, just because you don't like something, doesn't mean it's not "good". Other people may like it. You should respect that.

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:35 AM

@mrsgiggles in my opinion, letting a small, closed group of people decide everything leads to dictatorship. Voting doesn't really mean

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:37 AM

the most popular user decides, it means everyone gets a say. People can't steal each others votes. When I say something isn't good on egg

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:37 AM

cave, I usually mean its already been done. I'm not saying that about these recent CRWs, though, I like them. I'm saying that they're just

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:38 AM

@nenielsen This is a privately owned website. Of course it is a "dictatorship". It's like every private entity.

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:38 AM

little plain, and that they could have used user suggestions/artwork as inspiration... *looks up* I sound like such a crazy person... O_o

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:39 AM

@nenielsen And yes, you keep saying that "it" has already been done. Every single time something new is up here.

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:39 AM

@mrsgiggles I know that. But if they want to level out the egg-conomy, and get more users to play (which gets them money) then they should

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:40 AM

@nenielsen And you won't listen when people try to disagree with you. So what's the point, in the end?

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:40 AM

change egg cave to more of a democracy. Giving deciding power to the users here makes them stay longer, and pay for more creatures.

momokie • 24 Jan 2014, 1:40 AM

@nenielsen idk why your tripping...these /where/ user suggestions....

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:40 AM

@nenielsen I don't see the correlation because using all the user suggestions and the economy.

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:44 AM

@mrsgiggles I am listening. I'm counter-arguing your opinions with my own. If I wasn't listening, I would be yelling "nah nah nah" whith my

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:45 AM

hands over my ears. @mrsgiggles, you should see my most recent topic... @momokie they weren't credited or anything in the archives... :/

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:47 AM

@nenielsen All your argument boil down to "user suggestions will save Egg Cave" with flimsy reasoning. It's the same thing every time.

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:47 AM

@momokie I don't quite understand what you just... are you saying I'm trip'in, or did you not mean to type that? 😋

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:49 AM

@mrsgiggles your wrong. I'm not cooking a soup. The whole issues with the user suggestions are only one part of my arguments... see my topic

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:50 AM

because that's real proof. 😋 Anyway, what reasoning do you feel is "flimsy"? I'd be happy to argue about it. I have allll night. xD

mrsgiggles • 24 Jan 2014, 1:51 AM

@nenielsen I don't have all night and I give up. You'll say the same things the next update anyway. 😋

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 1:53 AM

@mrsgiggles more or less. c; I will point out the issues I see, and if they are the same, I'll repeat myself. 😉

ladynymeria • 24 Jan 2014, 1:58 AM

I think the point, @nenielsen, is that we don't wanna see these arguments. Not here. & I think a certain person recently proved how -

ladynymeria • 24 Jan 2014, 2:00 AM

Troublesome user suggestions can be. A creature that is even remotely similar to another suggestion can cause a ton of drama. I think voting

ladynymeria • 24 Jan 2014, 2:03 AM

Would make that worse. It would become a popularity contest and many more feelings would get hurt. Besides, u're not entitled to having ur-

ladynymeria • 24 Jan 2014, 2:04 AM

Suggestion featured.

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 2:04 AM

@ladynymeria I get what your saying, and I'm sorry I spammed the blog. But I believe voting for ideas every month, and releasing more

nenielsen • 24 Jan 2014, 2:06 AM

creatures each month would cause less drama. Everyone would have a say. Leaving the deciding only up to the mods is pretty much like saying
