Recently, we've received several reports of users creating similar usernames to others and acting as impostors and "stealing a trade" at the Trade Center. So, TO ALL TRADERS, before accepting an offer, please check the username of the offerer. This is especially important if you're trying to trade with a specific user. Make sure it is the right person and not an impostor! If you accidentally trade with the wrong user, we cannot give your creatures back. This notice has been posted on the View Offers page at the Trade Center. Remember that there are NO identical usernames. Pay attention to who offers on your lots. That way, it will take all of the power away from any impostors. :) Things like this are 100% preventable by you. ;D

there is only one thing we can do about this, whenever you find an impostor, post the name here, then tell your friends, knowledge gives us
the power to stop this eventually, if they know every name they try is being told on, we can shut them down

Hi all! Maybe I'm naive but I think this blog is a big warning for those impostors, it might be they just stop doing it now they're warned..

I think that our biggest weapon is simply being careful as Ian said. That is the only sure way. I just wish Ian would look into this more.
