Stumbled on an egg. This explains the name of the Egg Cave.

Not for eating, I was told. Am sceptical: instructions were to leave in warm water, presumably to simmer.

08-02-14:

A hatchling. Error conceded.

Emerged alive and able. Appropriate care given. Am apparently obligated to raise her. Named 'Sans', for her newness.

Surely the other eggs will be delicious enough to assuage my embarrassment.
