About Cachnid Eggs

The spines upon Cachnid eggs are incredibly sharp and contain a mild toxin that can send those affected into a temporary state of paralysis. As with practically any other egg found on Ark, it is essential to handle Cachnid eggs with extreme caution.

About the Cachnid Creature

It is not an uncommon sight to witness a cluster of Cachnids congregating near a single Kacki for increased protection against predators. During hunting sessions, a Cachnid will burrow beneath the desert sand, leaving only its cactus-like abdomen exposed. Any wandering prey that unwittingly crosses the path of the camouflaged spider will be quickly ambushed and subdued.
