The ring-tailed lemur is a large strepsirrhine primate and the most recognized lemur due to its long, black and white ringed tail. It belongs to Lemuridae, one of five lemur families, and is the only member of the Lemur genus.

About Ikamifoo Eggs

Ikamifoo nests can be found around the low to mid canopy level in Ark's jungles. Each nest will only hold one or two Ikamifoo eggs. At least one Ikamifoo family member, usually an older sibling, will be with the nest at all times.

About the Ikamifoo Creature

Ikamifoos live and travel in family groups. These groups can consist of anywhere between 15 and 25 Ikamifoos, at least half of which are related. The individual members of these troops range throughout the canopy during the day and return to a common nesting area at night.

Ikamifoos are highly intelligent and will use tools to gather food as well as toys when playing with each other. Ikamifoos have actually been observed playing Frisbee in the treetops together. This intelligence means that they are nearly impossible to be caught or confined. However, with some effort, Ikamifoos can be befriended. Once you have befriended an Ikamifoo you will have a playmate for life.
