Six peculiar yellow spots adorn Aquolt eggs, intermittently increasing and decreasing the intensity of their glow. Touching the shell will induce a warm, tingling feeling.
Quite deceivingly, the Aquolt is a deep-sea fish rather than a tropical one. Living at a depth that makes natural sunlight impossible to penetrate, this species provides its own light to guide the way in the abyss.
The soft, alluring glow radiated from an Aquolt's body will send its prey into a false sense of security, leaving them completely open to an electrifying attack.
