Name Origin:
Ashvaḥ is the Sanskrit word for a horse, one of the significant animals finding references in the Vedas as well as later Hindu scriptures. The legend states that the first horse emerged from the depth of the ocean during the churning of the oceans. It was a horse of white color, with two wings and seven heads. It was known by the name of Uchchaihshravas. The legend continues that Indra, king of the devas, took away the mythical horse to his celestial abode, the svarga (heaven). Subsequently, Indra severed the wings of the horse and presented it to the mankind. The wings were severed to ensure that the horse would remain on the prithvi (earth) and not fly back to Indra’s svarga.

About Pebblove Eggs

The densely-packed feathers present on Pebblove eggs are covered in an oily substance that is very effective at resisting water and other liquids which could harm the shell. Occasionally these eggs will exhibit a heartbeat-like rocking motion when they are nearing the time to hatch.

About the Pebblove Creature

Pebbloves are creatures of immense affection, putting forth great strides to procure the perfect lifelong mate. In Pebblove society, the gifting of heart-shaped pebbles is seen as the ultimate token of love. It is due to this important first impression that a male Pebblove has even been documented spending eighteen months searching for the most ideal stone.

Inspired by the Pebbloves' strong romantic bonds, it has become popular in recent years for human couples to visit the shores where the species resides as a date spot.
