There are more than one rooms in the cove. You wander into one, and see an Iramae lying lazily by a spring. He looks up at you and puts his head back down. As you walk closer, you see that behind him is a cabinet. You reach for it, and the Iramae smacks your hand away quickly. He grunts and shakes his head at you. Instead of trying again, you let him be and try another room.
bestbud is in charge of guarding the cove's secret treasures, and does so happily.
