Boremund Baratheon was the Lord of Storm's End and the head of House Baratheon during the reign of kings Jaehaerys I and Viserys I Targaryen. The only son of Lord Rogar Baratheon and Dowager Queen Alyssa Velaryon, Boremund was the half-brother of King Jaehaerys I.

According to Septon Eustace, Boremund was like stone, "hard and strong and unmoving". He was a belligerent and formidable man, though not as belligerent as his son Borros. Boremund was an outspoken and staunch supporter of the claims of his niece, Rhaenys Targaryen, and a steadfast friend to her.

When the succession crisis after Viserys's death escalated into the Dance of the Dragons, it was believed that Borros would support the side of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, as Boremund had been a staunch supporter of Princess Rhaenys and her son, Rhaenyra's late husband Ser Laenor Velaryon.[4] However, Lord Borros was infuriated by Rhaenyra's assumption of House Baratheon's support, and sided with the claim of King Aegon II Targaryen.

About Boarage Eggs

Protruding from the rear-end of every Boarage egg is a curled tail that will elicit a muffled squeal if tugged. The well-being of an egg can largely be determined by the strength of its tail, as a healthy one is oftentimes more difficult to unravel.

About the Boarage Creature

The Boarage is a species of pig that, not unlike its Tuswine cousin, has an insatiable appetite. Preferring a diet of particularly fresh fruit and vegetables, it is commonly found patrolling the outskirts of bountiful farmland.

Farmers regard Boarage as severe pests, estimating that they cause roughly two-hundred million Egg Coins' worth of crop damage every year on the island. It is because of this negative agricultural impact that a Boarage hunting season has been implemented by Ark's government to curb the rising population.
