ah, but speaking of genshin... i'm at 75 pulls.. and no 5 star. smh. also xiao getting delayed?!? smh. istg if i pull childe and then they announce xiao is coming in december or smth i'm quitting the game. (idk man)

so~~~~ i got mona on my first pull on the childe banner (soft pity says hi) which means... i have a guaranteed XIAO!! 😃 now i just have to resist... my pity's at 45 which is such an annoying number and i rly want razor pots T^T. (sometime in november)

hhhh the genshin content is rly bad lol. yet i still watch it. it's always the saaaaaameee.

before character: either "X WILL BREAK THE GAME" or "TRAP BANNER?!?"
after character: "x is underpowered/disappointing/bad/broken"

this community hypes things up wayyyy too much. have these ppl never played a gacha game lmao. i know that now one's gonna see this but i'm writing it anyways lol.

1. it's a game so do whatever makes it more enjoyable - if big numbers and op characters make u happy, go aim for that. if whaling is what's enjoyable, go for it. if you just rlyyyy like a character (me lol) then aim for that character and have fun.
additional note: if you like a character and you keep seeing videos and posts from ppl going "x is trash", "kekw imagine playing x", ignore them. it makes sense to get swayed but if you're angry that said character isn't as strong as you wanted, you definitely didn't actually like them.

2. don't get swayed by hype content. wait for the test trials and story quests before making your decisions. this doesn't just mean "let the content creator test it out first". This means test it out for yourself if a person says "x is soooo fun", don't assume that that's the truth and pull. eg, my friend loves how zhongli plays (and pulled 'cause he looked cool haha) but for me... after i played through his story mission and did his test trial, i realized that i hated his playstyle (lol). so i wasn't planning on pulling regardless ('cause xiao duh) but that just deterred me further.

tl;dr: do whatever/play whoever makes the game more fun FOR YOU.

also for my fellow comrades with a gacha addiction, just go through a couple tests/check for some requirements (this is especially important for f2ps duh):

1. do you want more than 1 character on the banner. if you only want the 5 star, you probably shouldn't pull - unless you're insanely lucky, you're getting 1 or 2 4 stars. 5 star + 1/2/3 4 star(s) - good/better/PULL ALREADY.

2. are you saving for a future banner? are you completely obsessed with one character (like me lmao)?

3. how far/close are you from/to pity? if you're far from pity and you don't rly want the 5 star but want the 4 stars, go for it. if you're close to first pity and are saving for a future banner, pull if you want the current rate up 5 star. it's a win-win: if u get them, great! if u don't, that's a guaranteed event 5 star. you should know what to do when approaching 2nd pity lol.
