Own story cutout:

“He nodded carefully, looking Cassiel in the eye a little warily. Eyes narrowed a little, and slightly leaning forward, he would have looked like he was listening carefully to someone he held with great respect. But an insider would know better.
He didn’t in any case worship Cassiel. But he didn’t overly admire or respect him. It was simply a cunning front, a well thought out mask so well fitted that he would have to spend no time working out a web of lies.
All he wanted, was to make Cassiel slip up. Therefore, he wanted to see Cassiel’s downfall. That would be a lot easier to explain then why exactly anyone would want to see someone else’s downfall.
He wanted to see Cassiel’s fall from high grace just so he could pitch up his own ego. Blow it up in proportions and raise it to be overwhelming. Why?
He thought Cassiel’s own carefully nurtured ego was just not good for his own good. A paradox in other words.
He wanted to see Cassiel’s downfall to increase his own ego because he thought Cassiel had a big ego and wanted to lessen it for him.
But Cassiel was cunning as he was sly, and he knew what exactly the other wanted. So whenever the two met, they walked precariously on fragile eggshells. It was like finely drawn battle rules, with each side readying each other for war, but such subtle clashing that not even a detective in his prime would be able to sniff it out.
The time was the zenith of unearthed mysteries, inventions and news of discoveries a common oddity. As such, they could meet as commonly as they wanted, not that they wanted to meet at all.
So each day, he waited for Cassiel’s last move, and Cassiel jumped well clear of the constricting boundaries that he had tried to place around him. Both were as cautious as ever, and kept a face of good sportsmanship for as long as they dared, but only in close company. Out of sight of anyone that they could possibly know or anyone that could possibly know them, it was another story altogether.
They came at each other like Siamese fighting fish, reckless in their moves, casting aside all cautiousness foolishly, and missed their marks with miles to improve. But they never seemed to learn.”

About Mo Eggs

Mo eggs are, obviously, shiny and pretty. So shiny that they sparkle even at night (yes -- without a light source)! Mo eggs are, currently, the most coveted egg in Ark; they are extremely rare. If you do happen to obtain one of these eggs, it's best not to tell anybody. The chances of Mo eggs being stolen are rather high. If you have a Mo egg and ever think somebody is plotting to kill you or steal the egg, report it to the authorities at the Town Hall.

About the Mo Creature

Mo are a heavenly bird that sing sweeter than a symphony or any human voice. Mo's beauty surpasses all other creatures (to many) and some speculate that Mo are not of Ark, but of some other distant world. Mo are also excellent parroters and can carry on somewhat lengthy intellectual conversations (forming their own thoughts and opinions); one never feels alone with a Mo. Mo like to keep warm and, as a result, enjoy being close to their masters. Mo can also travel long distances without stopping for food or water, so if you ever go on an adventure with a Mo, don't expect yourself to keep up!
