Alovar

Dreamy, wistful, romantic

"I love you."

"So...your name is Alovar? Is that the name of you as a whole? Does each head have its own consciousness or thoughts?" You scribble in your notebook as he looks at you, amused.
Both heads chuckle. "Yeah, Lovarts actually only share one brain here," Alovar pats his chest, where a plume of feathers shaped in a heart rested. "Lovarts have two heads but it's the same as you having two hands, you know? I can see and speak through both heads."
"I see," you say, jotting it down. So what's in your skulls?"
"It's just veins and fluid," he said. "Completely empty other than that. If you wanted to study my brain activity you wouldn't find any here." Both heads let out a short chirp of laughter.
"Alright...next question...are you in a relationship?"
Both heads chirp again. "No, I wish. Not much fish in the sea here. I'd prefer to raise a family but my species are dying out, y'know? It's a shame, but I heard the ones in the Academy are researching ways of reproduction that don't involve a couple."
"Interesting. How's the process coming along?"
"Dunno. You'll have to ask Everete."
"Alright then. Well, this concludes the interview and probably the most forced integration of a conversation. Thank you for your time!"
"See ya."

About Lovart Eggs

This egg was only given out from February 14-17, 2013.

Legend tells that if you rub the feathers on a Lovart egg, you will find your true love.

About the Lovart Creature

Lovarts are a special kind of bird that only mate with one other. And they stay with their "special other" for the rest of their lives. They never leave each other or move on to another mate.

Lovarts are particularly good at raising their young and even the young of other species. Lovart mothers are fiercely protective of their own but are very kind, trusting, and accepting of other creatures and humans.

In the ancient times of Ark, Lovarts were regarded as the true model for love.
