Allinore runs gleefully away, scampering through the sparse underbrush and slithering gracefully into a depression in the cracked earth of the desert. She's certain I will never find her.
"Ready or not here I coome"
Ali giggles throatily and peeks out from her hiding place to see me coming towards her.
"I see you Ali, I'm coming for you," I call playfully.
Allinore winds up and launches herself at me, missing by a few inches and landing in a heap next to something that looks like a cactus...

About the Kacki Creature

Kacki flourish in the Northern Plains. Touching their spines seems to have a unique effect on humans. Some die, while others are healed completely. Although the effects are interesting and want to be understood, the Town Hall has deemed all research experiences with Kacki and humans unethical and illegal.
