Tockmuses are a fully artificial creature created almost entirely from clockwork. Each Tockmus must be wound in order to function. Early models of the Tockmus required winding by every day. New versions of the Tockmus are capable of winding themselves for a period of time. This process is not perfect however, and newer Tockmuses still require to be wound manually once every week.
