About Udineam Eggs

Udineam eggs need to be buried in hot coals in order to hatch. As the eggs near hatching they will actually pull heat out of the surrounding coals.

About the Udineam Creature

Due to an unfortunate mutation Udineam's shells are very thin and brittle. However the natural ingenuity of the Udineam species has turned this weakness to their advantage. All Udineams reinforce and augment their shells in various ways. Many will install clockwork mechanisms that produce a variety of effects, such as extra limbs, offensive/defensive measures, ect. Udineams tend to go for more utilitarian enhancements to themselves rather than the purely ornamental or experimental enhancements of other species.
