About Scarffel Eggs

This creature needs its scarf in order to keep warm. Without it, the egg cannot hatch. Scarffel eggs can only be found in the wintertime.

About the Scarffel Creature

Scarffels live high up in evergreen pine trees and their primary food source is tree sap. Because they're always eating and touching tree sap, Scarffels are often mistook as some type of plant monster because there are so many pine needles, twigs, and other things that stick to them. (Rarely do you ever see the actual shape of their body but rather that which sticks to it.)

It's only with an attentive owner that their fur can be regularly washed, cleaned, and conditioned. Many owners, however, opt not to clean their Scarffels, as they are quite squirrelly when it comes to bathing and being soaked in water.

A Scarffel's scarf is critical for them to maintain bodily homeostasis. Without it, they cannot survive.
