Is this a pumpkin that's growing or a creature itself? It is always good to invite a scientist from the SAR Center in Ark City before harvesting your pumpkin fields because Pumkits might be interspersed throughout. You wouldn't want to harm the growing creature!
A close genetic relative and social friend of Kinumps, Pumkits are friendly creatures whose eggs are plentiful and abundant in the month of October. They can be spotted in corn mazes, helping Arkians traverse the confusion to completion, or helping pumpkin farmers harvest pumpkins from their fields. Naturally, they are good at knowing which vines in the fields are actual pumpkins versus other Pumkits themselves.
Pumkits hibernate in all seasons except autumn. So, enjoy their love and companionship while you can!
