Tia - They look like a 'Tia' to me. I had a school mate named Tia long ago. Small, button nose, beady eyes, fierce; I always loved her name. Nia, another fierce female name. 'in - I imagine the species using the contraction to identify themselves as proudly belonging to the species. (Perhaps a different one for the males, but I'll play with that if the time comes. 'en.)

About the Taigrin Creature

Taigrin, although one may be easily fooled, are aquatic creatures that resemble a cross between a wolf and a seal. The center of the mind is located in the red stone on the forehead. Both the subconscience and conscience operate there. If a Taigrin's red stone is cracked or damaged or bumped significantly, they typically demonstrate behaviors similar to animals infected with rabies. Currently, there is no operation to repair Taigrin red stones.
