Welcome to Provo's Free Creatures!

When I first joined Egg Cave back in 2016, I started a small giveaway where I'd hatch eggs and then give them away for free; now that I'm back after 7 years, I wanted to start it up again! I now have a side account, @provo4free, that's completely dedicated to raising creatures for others to adopt 😊

Rules:
1. You may adopt two creatures every half month (1st-15th and 16th-end of month) from the "Still Growing!", "Fully Evolved", or "Immortal" tabs of @provo4free - I will be keeping track of when you adopt! Note: This number is subject to change at any time due to amount of creatures currently ready for adoption
1a. Please ONLY ask for creatures that are in the above tabs; "Eggs" and "For Auction" are NOT avaliable for adoption requests; however, creatures in the "eggs" tab will be put up for adoption once they've hatched! I intend to send out all creatures hatched - please do not ask for them before they are ready!
In other words, unhatched creatures are NOT avaliable for adoption.
This may seem like a stupid or useless rule, but this is because I view my adoption center as a nursery of sorts, and I enjoy getting to help creatures hatch and find their forever homes! ❤️

2. Please do not adopt creatures just to sell/trade them! If I find out you have done this, you will no longer be allowed to adopt from here. That being said, if you get a creature from here that you no longer want/can no longer care for, just transfer it back to @provo4free! I will be very hesitant to allow you to adopt from me again if you let one of your adopted creatures die under your care.
Note: You are free to rename or freeze creatures or send them to a side account; just let me know what your side is!

3. To request a creature, post in this thread with link(s) to the creatures you want to adopt, and I'll send them over as soon as possible 😊 No need to ping, I'm subscribed!
Note: I am a busy college student and do not log onto my adoption account every day, so requests may take a little while to get to, but I promise I'll get to them when I can!
3a. If I have sent a transfer to you and you do not accept after a month has passed, I will cancel the transfer so that the creatures can be adopted by someone who is active.

Donations: March 2024 update!
- Donations are not at all required, but if you want to donate creatures, please send them in a transfer to @provo4free! Any donations will be welcome, although creatures other than cave commons are preferred in order to conserve space and help other users find creatures they may not have gotten the chance to find on their own!
- If you donate any amount of creatures, you may adopt an extra creature during the month you donated! (Ex. If you send a donation in March, you can adopt one bonus creature at any time during the month of March! Note that this is one bonus creature for the whole month instead of the typical bi-monthly adoption basis.)
- Donations can also come from my shop! EC from items purchased here will be used to buy travels for adoptable creatures, as well as cove expansion.
Note: Any donated creatures will be put up for adoption once hatched! The only creature on that account I'll ever keep for myself is the Dinno in the icon ❤️

About the Amanita Creature

A large, conspicuous mushroom, the Amanita is generally common and numerous where it grows, and is often found in groups of other mushrooms growing underneath trees. Amanita fruiting bodies emerge from the soil looking like white eggs. After emerging from the ground, the cap is covered with numerous small white to yellow pyramid-shaped warts. These are remnants of the universal veil, a membrane that encloses the entire mushroom when it is still very young.

Amanitas contains several biologically active agents, at least one of which, muscimol, is known to be psychoactive. Very few deaths have occurred from the ingestion of Amanita mushrooms.
