This egg has an extremely slippery coating, hence the phrase, "Slippery as an eel."

About the Jeggu Creature

The Jeggu is one of the most dangerous eels in the oceans surrounding Ark. Although these eels are very snakelike in their appearance, they're actually fish and are classified as such. Jeggus have the ability to send massive amounts of electricity into any friendly creature or predator that touches them. In general, Jeggus are very reactionary and rarely spare a friendly creature. It's best not to touch! The electric shock often goes straight to the heart and overloads it.

Jeggus are carnivorous and occasionally cannibalistic. They often each smaller fish, invertebrates, crustaceans, shrimp, crabs, and sea urchins. They can live up to 80 years.
