About Dilloton Eggs

Dilloton eggs can only hatch if the egg maintains an internal temperature of 50 degrees Celsius or higher. Dillotons are known for having the highest internal body temperature of almost any species of creature on Ark.

About the Dilloton Creature

Dillotons, when they are babies, are mistrustful of other creatures, humans, and even creatures of their own kind. They enjoy being alone at the beginning of their life and, after a while, they learn many difficult lessons of survival on their own. Their diet is entirely vegetarian, which means that food is scarce in the desert. The Northern Plains aren't able to sustain a high population of Dillotons.

After learning many of these difficult lessons about what it means to fend for yourself, Dillotons begin forming small bands of other Dillotons later in life, although these groups rarely reach more than 15 creatures in size. After the group becomes bigger than this, they often split ways and a new group forms. These groups are known as Dilloton bands and, chances are, when you see one Dilloton, there might be more nearby.
